Austin County Fair Parade

The parade, which is considered the official kick-off of the Fair, gathers many spectators as it winds around the square in Bellville and down Highway 159 to the Fairgrounds. Veteran parade-goers know to come early to obtain the best spots for viewing.

The Austin County Fair was organized in 1927 as an association to encourage agricultural and horticulture by exhibition of livestock and farm products. Today there are hundreds of committeemen, volunteers, sponsors and buyers who help make the Austin County Fair a success. We are proud to support the youth each year with many scholarships.
