Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade – Saturday, Dec 5
December 5, 2020 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Fantasy of Lights Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 5, 2020
34th Annual Fantasy of Lights Festival, December 4, 5 & 6, 2020
The first weekend in December is always very special here in Sealy when our community holds its highly anticipated Fantasy of Lights Celebration. The entire community comes together to celebrate the Christmas season with visitors from all over Texas.
More details to come…but after much negotiation with the Sealy City Council…The Sealy Community Foundation is still able to have the Fantasy of Lights parade and activities during the day!
The Sealy Community Foundation had to change/lengthen the Parade Route, but the good news is that there WILL be a parade this year! Unfortunately the BBQ Cook-off has been canceled.
Please stay safe by spreading out, wearing masks and complying with city and county rules. We know this won’t make everyone happy, but please know the Sealy Community Foundation has done everything they could to keep the parade going! Be safe out there Sealy friends.
The lights – just look at the lights! The Fantasy Park looks like a fairyland lighted by beams of millions of tiny stars with one giant star hovering over it all. The angels are heralding the birth of the Christ Child. Look – are those the three Wise men coming afar? So many others are here also. There’s Santa, Frosty the Snowman, the Sugarplum Fairy, a toy train, Christmas trees, toy soldiers, and the nativity scene. Then, out of the darkness at the end of main Street, march hundreds of children singing, bands playing, and floats covered with lights, slowly making their way down to Fantasy Park.
Abe & Irene Levine Family Park at 406 Main Street, Downtown Sealy
Directions – Both routes will take you directly to Levine Park:
From I-10 East or West – Exit 720 for TX-36 and travel North on TX-36. Take a Left and travel West on Main Street.
From TX-36 traveling South from Bellville – Take a Right and travel West on Main Street.
Below is a map of Saturday’s revised parade route.
The Sealy Community Foundation has adjusted the route to comply with the City of Sealy’s request.
They’re sad it’s not going through downtown Sealy…but excited that to still have a parade!
Attendees are encouraged to socially distance and wear masks when you cannot socially distance.
